Given today’s tough economic times, we should be careful with how and where we invest our money. Naturally, all investment products will only show the best side of their product. They will always tell you that it would b this easy to make this much money with supposedly very minimal risk. Unfortunately, most of the time, a lot of those are based on assumptions which are based on extremely best case scenarios, making them oftentimes unrealistic. Is it possible? Yes. But will that best case scenario actually happen?

Of particular interest to me was the Nouveau Riche University Scam. I had always thought about investing money with them since it seemed like a solid investment, but I suddenly got scared when I saw some blog entries about the so-called Nouveau Riche University Scam. Like I said, information presented on their promotional materials, such as their website, are based on best-case scenarios. Testimonials are also meant to encourage more people due to their success stories. Definitely, this Nouveau Riche Scam, whether true or not, was an eye-opener for me. It reminded me that I should not always be easily influenced by the flashy returns being promised by investment schemes. Thorough research will still be your best friend in investing your money.
